Thinking of new pseudo-resolutions, packing gifts, planning out-of-town vacations, setting up decorations, and flowing of cold breeze through your face, what seems to be the approaching occasion that is celebrated by almost all of the countries, if not all? It is of course the famous Christmas time.
You can also feel the spirit of the Yuletide season here in UPLB. You could see a lot of minimal decorations inside the campus. There are lanterns, lanterns and of course lanterns. You could see a lot of it right? But there are three main Christmas decorations that you would really notice because besides being very big, they are very well made. The three decorations are the giant Christmas tree, Nativity scene, and Santa Claus with his reindeers and they are found right after the UP main gate.

I would like to comment on the first decoration from the east, the giant Christmas tree. I love the designs of the tree but I think it is gradually being destroyed by the rain. Admit it, the gingerbread house and the large gifts beside the tree are both cute. I just wish they were in my house.

The next decoration is the Nativity scene found in C-park. The scene is very realistic as they have portrayed the scene like it was in stories.

The last but not the least and most liked decoration within the three is Santa in his sleigh with his reindeers. I like this awesome decoration in UPLB because the lights are nice and the reindeers are almost realistic because they seem to fly and with Rudolph having red nose.
I am just curious why only the entrance has these extravagant decorations. I am quite sure that inside the campus you will not see decorations like the ones you see near the gate. UPLB became like a tourist spot because of this decorations. It is really common for us to beautify only the things we see upfront and not the whole of it. Like in a person, you have a perfect outer beauty but what is inside is unsure. But never mind this schizophrenic thought of mine that will alter the subject that is UPLB decorations.
